stuff that that I KNOW Big Tobacco doesn't want you to see! (Don't they have
a lot of secrets?!) And, unfortunately, I felt compelled to add something else
too : the States have been at it again. So there's a bit on that as well . . .
So, what about all those additives
they put in your Name Brand cigarettes?
Have you ever thought or wondered about them? How many do they add, and
how many of their additives do you smoke? What are they, what do they do,
and why are they there? Should you be smoking them? Can you avoid

Here we go again: Many states - and a growing number! - are aggressively
forcing vendors who are NOT on sovereign Native Territory OR that are NOT
sovereign Native owned and operated to provide purchaser lists to them.
I've had more news of this recently. They use these lists to subject those
purchasers to horrifying tax bill surprises on all their cigarettes purchases!
These bills can amount to 100's
or more dollars and completely destroy the
savings you thought you had, not to mention the unexpected financial burden
and its consequences, the shock and the hassle!
Don't set yourself up by dealing with the wrong companies! The states are

599 Cigarette Additives?
Did you know that the United States government allows 599 additives to be
put in your U.S. manufactured cigarettes? (Some older folks may not be too
surprised at this because a lot of them have noticed that their smokes don't
taste the way they used to. Of course they don't: they’re not the same!)
What could possibly make Big Tobacco need to mess around so very much
with good, clean, pure and natural tobacco?! A good question! And
the
answer is not so surprising when you think about just what corporate Big
Tobacco really is.
Why?
There are a number of reasons for the additives, but the main one is to hide
just how bad the cigarettes really are! Huge transnational corporations
use
additives to disguise the second-rate, often stale tobacco they use, much of
which is often imported from cheap overseas sources and may have been
stored for long periods in a ship's hold or warehouse. (Ever-greedy, they are
not content with passing along huge price increases to us, they also use
questionable-at-best cheap additives to hide the cheap stuff they sell us!)
Additives also hide the fact that almost all American cigarettes - including all
the top brands! - are made from "tobacco sheet" rather than directly
from pure
tobacco. Tobacco sheet is a plywood-like substance that combines and
includes the additives, tobaccos,
and the cheap imported stuff along with
stems and other bits and pieces
from the manufacturing process. This sheet
is then ground up to make your cigarettes. That’s NOT the way to make a
high-quality product!
Additives also control burn rate, moisture, affect the flavor, etc. But
why is all
that necessary? Only because of the cheap and unnatural initial components
of the tobacco sheet! The old saying, "don't fix it if it ain't broke"
comes to
mind! Yes, but their profits are greater if they use the cheap stuff . . .
and if
you smoke it!
If you look at the list of permitted additives - see the link below - you will
see
that many of the additives are flavorings and sugars. And then there are
all
those many other ones, most of which are just about unpronounceable.
What do they do to you?
It's a good question, but a question with no good answers. It IS known,
however, that a number of very common additives, when burned, give off
toxic gases that are banned by international chemical warfare treaties!
And
don't assume that the sugars are fine: In fact, the sugars are among the worst
toxic gas offenders! They may be fine on the table - perhaps - but in a burning
cigarette it is an entirely different situation and result.
So, is this what you want to smoke???! Not me, Thanks!
Finally, consider this: Should you really trust Big Tobacco and what they
do
to their smokes - those guys who lied to us for years and now have the gall
to pass along their huge liar’s costs to us? I don't think so. . .
